A cross-game is a video game that allows players to easily understand assets from all other games in the world and quickly bring some of those into the circumstance of their own video game. This does not mean importing 3D models from game in another : it means things like reading straightforward key/value pairs, examining reputation, and even click for more creating conversation forests based on previous selections the player has made in other video games.
While the narrative of Get across Game doesn’t fit beautifully into some of these categories, it is just a good model of this type of thing.
